Welcome, our Kickstarter Project of the Week, the Mycestro™— a 3D mouse that fits on the index finger and allows you to control your computer with hand gestures and mouse functions. You tap your thumb to click and wave to move your cursor. It looks like a simple ring and even comes with a finger strap that you can adjust to fit any ring size.
It’s great to see products with a smart design and without a huge learning curve. The design of the Mycestro is meant to be intuitive. It moves with you, naturally. If you watch the video below, you can see not only how easy it is to use, but also how it doesn’t get in your way. You can still type on your keyboard with it on. Lastly, listen to how Mycestro is pronounced in the video. The product is a fun play on the word “Maestro” (Now imagine yourself as the maestro of your computer, where everything you type or create is a work of art.)
This project will only be funded if at least $100,000 is pledged by Friday Mar 29, 3:00pm EDT. Please show your support on their Kickstarter page at http://kck.st/WZoGGN. To learn more about this project, you can also visit their main website at http://www.inn-dev.com/

Welcome our Kickstarter Project of the Week (KPOW), the 3Doodler. You read correctly. A 3D Doodler. It is a pen that draws in the air, or as the creators put it, “Lift your imagination off the page!”
Basically, as you draw with the pen, it excretes a heated plastic that cools almost instantly, allowing you to quickly build any shape or design. Don’t worry, you won’t burn your fingers because the heater plastic is warm, not hot, to the touch.
Not a very good artist? Well, you can download their stencils on their website here: http://the3doodler.com/Plus, a few Etsy store owners have already begun to use the 3Doodler to create artwork and jewelery to sell.
Again, I love products that are easy to use. Everyone knows how to use a pen. It’s intuitive. There’s no teaching involved. When we were younger, we might have doodled on paper, dreaming up things we hoped to create. Now, the 3Doodler enables us to make that a reality. It’s pretty amazing to see how the creators transformed an ordinary pen into an extraordinary drawing tool. Although the pen is not intended to be a toy, I’d really like to see this product made kid-friendly. Besides, they are the ones that are going to have the most fun with this!

TEASER: “ASCEND”
Ascend is a short film, written and produced by a crew of students from Universities and industry professionals throughout Utah. It is a dark science-fiction story filled with questions about the future of the human race and the nature of humanity itself. Set in the not too distant future, the fate of all mankind will be decided by the choices of 10 individuals, whose intertwined lives and shared destiny will bring about the beginning of the end. It is the vision come-to-life of local directing wünderkind Denver James Harward and startup production company RIPPLE MEDIA, whose directing credits include short films “Alter”, “Searchers” and most recently LDS film festival special mention “Exodus”. This is our most ambitious project to date, with multiple shooting locations across northern and southern Utah, a crew of more than 25 individuals behind the scenes and in front of the camera and early access to revolutionary prosumer filming equipment.
The filmmakers are raising money to finish this film. Find out more at indiegogo.
